My Senior year, I contributed my time during the semester as a volunteer at the Yellow Ribbon Support Center as a part of my Capstone service learning project. The Yellow Ribbon Support Center is a local organization that supports the United States military through care package initiatives and scholarship programs. As a volunteer, I utilized my knowledge in Microsoft Excel and problem-solving skills to revamp their inventory management system.
This experience impacted me professionally and personally. I have gained in-depth knowledge on warehouse operations that fits well within my passion for logistics and has inspired me to contribute more free time to local organizations that are working to make our world a better place.
